Modular Aluminum Ramps
A modular ramp is considered a semi-permanent structure- meaning you’ll get a stable and long-lasting product without permanently altering your property. This type of ramp can be connected, moved, and reconfigured in countless ways and has a heavier weight capacity than portable ramps. Modular ramps are 36″-48″ wide and can be built with or without a handrail. Metal ramps come with a lifetime warranty, withstand harsh weather, and require no maintenance. To prevent slipping in winter, use heat mats or sand, or consider expanded metal for areas prone to ice and snow
Modular Aluminum Ramp Sizes: available in 4′, 5, 6′, 7′ and 8′ sections. Sections connect to each other or platforms for turns and landings.

Portable Ramps
A portable wheelchair ramp is a great solution for temporary access to your home if you have less than 3 steps for entry. Whether you’re an active traveler, a home caregiver, or simply in need of a convenient solution for daily mobility, our portable ramps are the perfect companion. Lightweight, foldable, and easy to transport, they fit seamlessly into your lifestyle, granting you the independence you deserve. Portable ramps do not come with handrails, and unfortunately cannot be connected together to create one continuous surface like the modular system does. These ramps are only 30" wide, which means they can fit at most door sills, however they may not be large enough to support a bariatric wheelchair without upsizing to the larger, heavy duty options.
Portable Ramp Sizes: available in 2′, 3′, 4′, 5′, 6′, 7′ and 8′ lengths; single fold and tri-fold styles as well.

Threshold Ramps
Metal or rubber threshold ramps offer great value and benefits. They are customizable, allowing for various height and width configurations, and come in a range of different colors or materials. Threshold ramps are ideal for changes in flooring heights between rooms (for example, when LVP is installed in the hallway and then there's a 1/2" edge to get into the bathroom onto the tile floor which has a different finish height), or for when there are significant thresholds at the bottom of a door that prevent wheels from smoothly rolling through. Threshold ramp systems can be installed at sliding glass patio doors or on the inside and outside of virtually any entry door without changing the entire door framing to accommodate an ADA sill.

Concrete Ramps
Concrete ramps and walkways blend access seamlessly with your home's exterior and are durable and customizable. However, they require careful planning, especially in HOA neighborhoods where approval is needed for permanent alterations. HOAs can dictate the appearance to meet design covenants but cannot deny access.

Wooden Ramps
Wood is a popular choice for wheelchair ramps due to its attractive appearance and ability to be stained to match your home. However, consider the weather and maintenance required over time. Wood ramps usually need a permit, building inspection, and HOA approval as they are permanent alterations.
Wheelchair Ramp FAQs
How much ramp will I need?
First, measure from the ground to the topmost level of the space you are needing to access. This is called the “rise;” a typical step will be 7″ tall- therefore, you will have 7″ of rise per step. If you have two steps, your total rise will be 14″. The general rule of thumb with ramps is that you will want to have 1 foot of ramp for every 1 inch of rise. For two steps, you should consider getting as close to 14′ of ramp as you can.Do you rent ramps?
Yes! Modular ramp rentals are available based on the size needed and product availability. Give us a call to discuss temporary home access solutions. Can you use Trex or similar composite products on a wheelchair ramp?
Yes, however composite (plastic) ramps tend to get very hot and very slippery during certain seasons or prolonged weather events. They do last for many years when installed correctly, but are significantly more costly than metal options that are faster and easier to install.
